Seven Seasons Honey Wattleseed Coffee Liqueur – 700ml
Larrakia bush honey is floral and sweet and the addition of native wattleseed infuses the coffee with hints of roasted hazelnut.
With its unforgettable taste – chocolate on the front palate giving way to mocha, candied walnut that fills the mouth, and notes of honey and spiced chai on the finish – this Liqueur is the perfect after-dinner drink, served neat or on the rocks. When paired with the Seven Seasons Native Yam Vodka, it makes an exceptional espresso martini.

nunka. Wattleseed (Ground) – 40gm
Wattleseed, the Acacia, was a mainstay in the diet of Australia’s earliest mobs for thousands of years providing a rich source of protein and carbohydrate in times of drought.
The seed was crushed into flour between flat grinding stones and cooked into cakes or damper. Even the green seeds of some species were eaten after baking in the hot coals.
Wattleseed contains potassium, calcium, iron and zinc in fairly high concentrations. With a low glycemic index, they are good for diabetics, providing a steady stream of sugars that do not produce sudden rises in blood glucose levels.
Most vitamins are found except for C, B12 and riboflavin. Wattleseed are high in fibre – with over 30%.
There are over 120 species of Acacia however not all are edible.
