Sunrise lime (Citrus australasica var. sanguinea × Citrus limonia), also known as the Australian Sunrise Lime, is a hybrid citrus fruit developed by the CSIRO (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation) in Australia. It’s a cross between a calamondin (Citrus × microcarpa) and the native finger lime (Citrus australasica).

This citrus hybrid is celebrated for its bright colour, zesty flavor, and ornamental value in both home gardens and high-end cuisine.
