Cinnamon Myrtle (Ground) – 20gm
Cinnamon myrtle (Backhousia myrtifolia) is a native Australian rainforest tree known for the spicy cinnamon aroma of its leaves. It’s part of the Myrtaceae family (which includes lemon myrtle and eucalyptus) and grows naturally in the subtropical rainforests of eastern Australia, particularly in New South Wales and Queensland.
Though not related to true cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum), its leaves have a similar warm, sweet-spicy scent and flavour, making it a sought-after ingredient in bush food cuisine.
